A Distributed Team Leaves ClickUp Behind

The processes were clear to her but not to her team, part of which works from the Philippines. She moved everyone to Edworking because it was easier for the team to use, not just for her.

1tool replacedClickUp, dropped because her team could not follow its processes

One tool, named by the customer in a recorded interview. She describes the switch itself rather than a full workflow, so this story claims nothing beyond it.

Captions are in the speaker's own words and are not translated.

In their own words

I left ClickUp to move here because ClickUp wasn't user-friendly for my team. I fully understood the processes, but they didn't. And some of my team members are in the Philippines. So that's why we just shifted to something much easier.

The workflow they described

Only the parts of the workspace this customer said they use, each shown as the live interface rather than a screenshot.

01 · Import

Her work came across from ClickUp rather than being retyped, which is what made leaving it practical.

02 · Board and list

The board and list carry the states the team actually works in. She understood the processes in ClickUp and her team did not, so the test was whether they could follow this without her.

Michelle teaches one-on-one and wanted a single place to talk to her students, share materials with them and plan what they practise, rather than splitting each student across separate apps.

A Team Drops ClickUp and Slack after a One-Month Trial

Tasks sat in ClickUp while staff and freelancers talked in Slack, and the two never met. After testing Edworking with the whole team for a month, projects and messaging live in the same app, with the migration run for them.
